Prayer Prompts to Guide Your Nominating Committee

 Opening Prayer for Nominating: 

   Guide us, O God in the work you are calling us this moment to do. We seek your will as we look toward the leadership of the church in this community today. As we prepare for the work ahead, you call us to listen, to reflect, and to hope for the future. Guide our conversations, make us speak truth in love to one another. Thank you God for your Spirit moving in and through us in all things. Amen. 

Prayer Prompts once the committee has received names from the congregation. 

Praise and Appreciation -for those who are currently serving on the Session as well as the Staff 

Wisdom- for those who are deciding on saying yes 

Wisdom- for those who have made the commitment of yes to serve 

God's Will- for the people asked and for the team to work diligently in our asking in love

God's Will-for the church as we seek out leaders and discern the path ahead. 

Thanks- for those who have said yes 

Thanks- for those who have deferred or declined to serve at this time. That their involvement continue in different ways.
